This initiative involves a complete revamp of roofing systems, stucco, windows, doors, and flooring, alongside substantial structural enhancements. A crucial component of this renovation is ensuring that all classrooms and restrooms meet Americans with Disabilities Act compliance standards, integrating a range of additional improvements. We're pleased to announce that Buildings A, B, C, and D have received Division of the State Architect (DSA) approval, with Construction Change Directives submitted for each building awaiting further review and approval by the DSA.

    An essential goal of this project is to guarantee the comprehensive waterproofing and sealing of the entire campus. This entails meticulous care to uphold the integrity of building envelopes, ensuring that all structures are impermeable to water infiltration and environmentally sound. This precaution is crucial for the durability of campus buildings and the safety and well-being of its occupants.

    The goal is to finish the project in preparation for the fall 2025 academic session, providing students with a revitalized, secure, and cutting-edge educational setting.

    Project Progress:

    The construction of the mock up to showcase the waterproof system is ongoing.

    The concrete pour for the footings of Buildings A, C, and D has been completed.

    Installation of bottom rebar is currently ongoing for Building B.

    The removal of exterior stucco across the entire campus is in progress.

    Installation of additional scaffolding for the roof and surrounding plaster access is ongoing.

    • Layout, saw cutting and demolition for new structural footings underway for all buildings.
    • Continuation of excavation and removal operations for the new structural footings of all buildings.
    • Completion of exterior HVAC units’ removal.
    • Ongoing installation of additional scaffolding for the roof and surrounding plaster access.

    •  Exterior and Interior Footings: Following approval from the DSA, activities such as scanning, layout, saw cutting, and demolition to prepare for the new structural footing in Buildings A, C, & D have commenced. These activities are anticipated to continue until mid-April 2024.
    • Excavation: Excavation and off-haul preparations for the new structural footing in Building D are set to commence on March 15, 2024.
