Distance Learning Guide
Dear Parents, Guardians, Staff and Community,
The 2020-21 school year starts on August 24th in the most untraditional way: full distance learning for all students.
Our guide Succeeding in a digital classroom: A parent and student guide for distance learning 2020-2021 provides families with key information and expectations to best support our students. Your school site will also provide site-specific information on schedules and programs.
Our teachers and administrators have been working hard this summer, and for the week prior to the start of school, to be ready to welcome our students, albeit virtually, and approach this unpresented time in education with enthusiasm and passion to make this a successful experience for all students.
Please read this guide carefully and use it as a reference throughout our distance learning time. You will find answers to many questions here, along with expectations for teachers, parents and students, resources to assist supporting students and families and who to contact if you have a concern or question. Our guide is posted on your school’s website in the What’s Happening section.
