    It's here - the exciting start of our Middle School Sports Program!

    As part of SMMUSD's new competitive sports program, student athletes from John Adams Middle School, Lincoln Middle School, and SMASH have the opportunity to try out for a spot to represent their school in up to three sports:

    • Flag Football (coed)
    • Girls Volleyball
    • Cross Country (coed)

    - JAMS will have one 7th & 8th grade joint team. JAMS will have one 6th grade team. Lincoln MS will have one 7th & 8th grade joint team. LMS will have one 6th grade team. SMASH students that make a team will join JAMS or LMS based on address and connection with peers.

    - Enrollment and registration begin on August 1, 2023.

    - Tryouts for fall will take place from mid to late August. There are a total of four tryout dates. Two dates will be hosted at Lincoln Middle School and two dates will be hosted at JAMS.

    - Athletes MUST attend two out of four tryout dates for the best chance to showcase skill/talent/hard work. Tryout spots are limited, so be sure to sign up right away!

    2. Receive your email confirmation and follow the steps listed on the email under "WHAT’S NEXT INSTRUCTIONS"
    3. Register for Fall try outs, select up to two dates per sport (per sport optional).
