    NEW MEETING PROCEDURES:

    Persons may attend the board meeting via Zoom webinar or in-person in the district office boardroom (1651 16th St., Santa Monica, CA).

    Public Comments: Persons wishing to address the Board of Education on an agenda item must fill out a Request to Speak Card (in-person comment) or Google Form (comment via Zoom).  Speakers must fill out one form per agenda item.  A person must complete the form prior to consideration of the specific agenda item the person wishes to address. Persons wishing to speak on an item not appearing on this meeting’s agenda may speak during the General Public Comments section by submitting a speaker’s card or Google form prior to the beginning of General Public Comments.  The Google Form will open 30 minutes prior to closed session. 
    Simultaneous Interpretation: Persons wishing to hear a board meeting in Spanish can log into the Zoom link (located at the top of an agenda) and select Spanish under the Interpretation button at the bottom of the Zoom screen.  Please use your own headphones if listening to simultaneous interpretation while in the boardroom.
    Meeting Formats: The first board meeting in a month will follow Format A, the second meeting in a month will follow Format B, and in a month in which there is only one meeting, the Hybrid Format will be followed. 
    Time-certain Items: Those items listed for a specified time (marked in the title of the item) are so noted to give the public an indication of when the Board will hear that item. However, if it is prudent to do so, the Board may adjust the time stamp to complete an item currently on the floor, but will not delay the time stamped item for more than fifteen (15) minutes.

    LOS PROCEDIMIENTOS NUEVOS DE REUNIONES:

    Las personas puede asistir a la reunión  en el seminario web de Zoom o en persona en las oficinas administrativas del distrito (1651 16th St., Santa Mónica, CA).

    Comentarios públicos: ELas personas que deseen dirigirse a la Junta de Educación sobre un tema de la agenda deben completar una tarjeta de solicitud para hablar (comentario en persona) o un Formulario de Google (comentario a través de Zoom).  Los oradores deben completar un formulario por tema de la agenda.  Una persona debe completar el formulario antes de examinar el tema específico de la agenda que la persona desea abordar. Las personas que deseen hablar sobre un tema que no figure en la agenda de esta reunión pueden hacer uso de la palabra durante la sección de Comentarios del público general completando una terjeta de solicitud para hablar o el formulario de Google antes del comienzo de los comentarios del público general.  El formulario de Google se abrirá 30 minutos antes de la sesión cerrada.
    Interpretación simultáneaLas personas que deseen escuchar una reunión de la mesa directiva en español pueden iniciar la sesión por medio del enlace de Zoom (ubicado en la parte superior de una agenda) y seleccionar español en el botón de Interpretación en la parte inferior de la pantalla de Zoom.  Utilice sus propios auriculares si escucha interpretación simultánea mientras está en la sala de juntas.
    Formato de reuniónes: La primera reunión de la mesa directiva del mes seguirá el formato A, la segunda reunión del mes seguirá el formato B, y en un mes en el que solo haya una reunión, se seguirá el formato híbrido. 
    Temas de horario determinado: Los temas enumerados para un horario específico (marcados en el título del tema) se anotan para dar al público una indicación de cuándo la mesa directiva abordará ese tema. Sin embargo, si es prudente hacerlo, la mesa directiva puede modificar el horario para completar un tema que actualmente está siendo tratado, pero no retrasará el tema con un horario determinado por más de quince (15) minutos.
