Who is allowed to use school property?

Proof of liability insurance must be attached to the permit. All fees must be paid prior to use of the facilities. The Maintenance Department will arrange overtime staff as needed.

What is a run assignment for the plant staff?

The custodial department of this school district has a key part in the educational program. They serve to provide a clean, healthy, and safe learning environment for students and staff. Clean schools enhance the image of our schools to the community. The run assignment is the day-to-day description of work the custodians are to complete on a given day. Such tasks may include cleaning specific buildings, checking restrooms, picking up paper on the campus, completing special projects as needed, and picking up garbage at lunch. The run assignment helps the site principals and custodial staff keep the site clean.

Whose responsibility is it to lock up the school site?

The custodian is responsible for the security of all buildings on the site. He/she is to allow no one access unless they have permission to be there from the site principal or supervisor (either verbally or a written note). The custodian does a security check of all doors and windows and sets the school security alarm before he/she leaves the site.
