HVAC

We are excited to upgrades and installation of new Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) at Roosevelt. Everything is in process. All indoor HVAC units are expected to be installed by mid-August and we are awaiting the delivery of outdoor units and expect them to be installed by mid-September. The new transformer will take approximately 30-45 days to be delivered due to supply chain issues. Due to unforeseen delays, the HVAC system is expected to be fully running by the beginning of November. In the interim, all rooms have been adjusted to prepare to provide health protective ventilation beginning on the first day of school.

Security Cameras

Security cameras have been fully installed, programmed and staff have been trained in the operation of the security system. Security cameras are located around the perimeter of the campus and outdoor areas. They will support increased safety and property management.

Surface Coatings

Anti-slip surface coating will be completed on the second-floor walkway at Roosevelt and to the cafeteria lunch area ramp when students return. 

Furniture

We are in the process of replacing all of the old classroom furniture with new 21^st century furniture that will support flexibility, allow for differing modes of learning and improve student engagement. Roosevelt's new furniture has arrived and has been installed in the classrooms.
