    At Edison Language Academy, our students often hear that being bilingual will open doors for them—but Bilingual Career Day shows them exactly how. We invite professionals from a wide range of fields who use two or more languages in their daily work to speak with our students, sharing real-world examples of how bilingualism enhances their careers and lives.

    This year, our guests included translators, architects, graphic designers, filmmakers, authors, police officers, librarians, entrepreneurs, and—always a crowd favorite—firefighters. Each speaker brought their unique story, showing students how language is not just a skill, but a powerful tool for connection, creativity, and opportunity.

    The result? A day full of inspiration, eye-opening conversations, and a deeper appreciation for the power of being bilingual in today’s world.
