Welcome to Edison Language Academy, where learning thrives in both Spanish and English! We are delighted to be a part of the Santa  Monica-Malibu Unified School District, offering an enriching Dual Immersion Elementary School experience.

At Edison, our journey towards bilingual fluency starts with our youngest preschoolers and continues through confident 5th graders, all while mastering a comprehensive curriculum. With a proud 37-year legacy of excellence, Edison stands as one of California's longest-running dual immersion programs, now spanning from PreK to 12th grade within SMMUSD.

Edison has received prestigious honors, including the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence from the US Department of Education, California Distinguished School status, Title I Academic Achievement School designation from the California State Department of Education, and recognition as an Honor Roll School by the Education Results Partnership. Additionally, we have been awarded a Seal of Excellence by the California Association for Bilingual Education. We excel in academic rigor, champion inclusivity, and are dedicated to closing achievement gaps while nurturing well-rounded students through rigorous academics, enriched arts programs (theater, art, dance, and music), hands-on science in our learning garden, and a deep exploration of the cultures of the Americas.
