Campus Tours for Parents/Guardians of Prospective Students
For Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten -- Edison offers informational tours for prospective parents on scheduled mornings from October through late January. These meetings are conducted either in English or Spanish and provide information about dual immersion and Edison so you can decide if this might be the right school for your child.
Call the office at 310-828-0335 ext. 61348 or 61349 to schedule a tour. The presentation takes about an hour and a half. Most orientations are held on Friday mornings and begins promptly at 9:30 a.m. Please plan to arrive early to find parking and be checked in at the main office by that time. We’re sorry, but we can’t accommodate children at these meetings since we will also be visiting classrooms. We also offer a Saturday morning tour and an evening tour for those who cannot attend a weekday morning tour. Speak with our staff about these options when you call.
To obtain an application for admission, you must attend prospective parent tour. For older students – Please make an appointment to attend an orientation to learn about our program and see if dual immersion may be right for your child. Spaces are much more limited beyond Kindergarten and require that students already have some proficiency and literacy skills in Spanish. Admission is on a space available basis.
If you have questions about the process of applying to Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten at Edison, please contact Community Liaison Yoly Gutierrez at 310-828-0335 ext. 61305 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
