Information Sessions and Tours for Parents/Guardians of Prospective Students

Edison is a school with a specialized dual immersion curriculum and is a school of choice for all students.  Although there is an admission preference offered for families living nearby the school, Edison is not a neighborhood school. Families that are interested in learning more about the dual immersion program at Edison and determining if this is the right fit for their family are invited to attend an information session.  Applications for admission are available after participation in an information session.

Each year, Edison enrolls approximately 100 students in our three Kindergarten and one Transitional Kindergarten classes.  Spaces are much more limited beyond Kindergarten and require that students have some proficiency and literacy skills in Spanish.  Admission is available on a space available basis in grades 1-5.  

For Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten – To apply for the 2024-25 school year, Edison will offer in person informational presentations and a campus tour for prospective parents on the following dates:

• Thursday, January 11 - 5:30-7:30 pm
• Saturday, January 20 - 9:00-11:00 am
• Thursday, January 25 -- 5:30-7:30 pm

These sessions will be conducted in person and on the Edison campus in Spanish and English, so you can choose the language that is most comfortable for the adults in your family. To obtain an application for admission, you must attend an information session.  Applications for TK and K for 2024-2025 are due by January 31, 2024.

Edison Seaside Pre-School Program - This is a small (16-18 students) part-day dual immersion preschool program on the Edison campus.  The program is fee-based with financial aid available to qualifying families. Information sessions for Seaside for 2024-2025 are in-person and scheduled for:

• Saturday, February 10, 2024 - 9:00-11:00 am
• Thursday, February 22, 2024 - 6:00-7:30 pm

Applications for Preschool for 2024-2025 are due by March 1, 2024.
