Head Coach Carter Paysinger. 

Carter Paysinger, a well known name in  the southern California area among educators, CIF and the high school football community, is already making an impact on the Samohi campus.  After a long career in education as an Athletic Director, Assistant principal, Principal and School President, Coach Paysinger has now come to the Vikings with energy and excitement about rebuilding the Samohi football program.  As the past CIF president, Coach Payinger brings in-depth knowledge and relationships to the athletic department as they look toward the future.   Coach Paysinger was the head coach of Beverly Hills High School football team for 19 years before moving into administrative roles on that campus, then at St. Bernards High School and most recently, in his retirement, as the interim Principal at Palos Verdes High School.
