Parents at Malibu High School are enthusiastic participants in the life of the school. As active members of the PTSA or the Shark Fund, as volunteers in the library, or in the stands at games and in the audience at concerts, our parents model the leadership and dedication to others that we encourage in our students.

There are five major volunteer organizations at Malibu High School:

• The Shark Fund
• PTSA
• Arts Angels
• Athletic Booster Club
• School Site Council

All offer a range of opportunities for parents and members of our community to get involved at Malibu High. Every year, members of these groups volunteer thousands of hours to provide the necessary financial support, organizational skills and good old-fashioned elbow grease to ensure that our fundraising, athletic, arts and educational programs are the best they can be. We strongly encourage parents to find one or more parent groups with which to connect— many families make lifelong friends with the others they meet at MHS.
