    1st grade activity playlist: If you have a ukulele, go ahead and play along with Teacher Ann! If you don't have a ukulele, feel free to play the "She'll be Comin' Round the Mountain" rhythms on any instrument you'd like!
     
    Follow along and sing with Teacher Lynn as she introduces Solfege hand signals and plays Mortimer's song. Gather any instruments you may have or items from your kitchen to play along!

    We are having even more fun with our weather theme! Get ready to play, move and sing with these weather songs, especially with the Eensy Weensy Spider!
     
    Teacher Lynn grabbed some plastic cups of various sizes to play the rhythms in "She'll be Comin' Round the Mountain".
    See her mix up "Yum-my Yum-my", "Howdy Ma'am" and our favorite, "Grandmas gonna snore" with other rhythms to make an awesome rhythmic improv section!
    Watch the video above and play the C scale up and down with the students. Sometimes the scale is play faster (Allegro) or slower (Adagio). 
    You can also play a kitchen instrument with the song. You can assign different instruments to each word of the song!
