Franklin Before & After School Programs

  • School Age Programs

School Age Programs (SAP) through the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District offers school-age child care program. We welcome the opportunity to work with children who have special needs and their parents to determine how we can support every child's successful participation in our programs. The programs are available for students in Kindergarten to 3rd grade. Our Before and After school programs offer a rich array of activities as well as a daily homework opportunity.

FULL TIME CHILDCARE: Includes before-school care from 7:00 a.m. until the regular school day begins at the first bell, and continues from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m.

AM CARE: Parents who need to drop off their children at school beginning at 7:00 a.m. may choose a morning-only program option. Activities include preparation for the school day, arts and crafts, board games and opportunities for playtime with friends.

EARLY EXPRESS: This after-school part-time option operates from the time of kindergarten dismissal until 3 pm. Early Express is designed for parents who need childcare for their kindergartner until their older sibling is dismissed from school. It is offered every day, including minimum days.
