Communications @ SMASH
-
SMASH PTSA sends communications via our communication platform, Konstella. Konstella allows us to reach all of our families while giving parents control in deciding how to receive our communications (daily digest, weekly digest, immediate emails, phone notifications, etc.). If you are a parent who becomes a registered Konstella user, you can:
- Access all notifications, events etc. on the website or app, which means no more searching through your email inbox.
- Set your notification preferences to what works best for you and adjust whenever you want.
- Communicate with other parents on the platform privately, in the classrooms, or in parent-created social groups
- Sync the Konstella school calendar with your personal calendar
New families and current families can expect to get communication about joining SMASH families on Konstella at the beginning of the school year. If you do not receive an invitation or are a parent joining after the beginning of the new year, please contact communications@smashptsa.org.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns about PTSA, please contact Board members via Konstella or their contact information provided on this site under the “Parents” tab, click “PTSA Executive Board.”
Teachers send out summaries of the week and announcements about upcoming events and activities by a weekly email sent through Konstella. If parents are curious about what other cores are doing, all weekly teacher letters are compiled into the SMASH Friday Letter.
SMASH teachers have two parent-teacher conferences, in fall and in spring. Parents can always email teachers directly about any questions or concerns; teachers’ emails are found on this website under the “Staff” tab in “Staff Directory.”
