Explore your creativity through the Reflections Art Program!

How to Participate:

  1. Brainstorm the meaning of this year's theme, "Accepting Imperfection", and create artwork reflecting your ideas.
  2. Write an Artist Statement (10-100 words explaining your artwork and how it relates to the theme). This statement is very important in the judging, so be sure to write a thoughtful and heartfelt Artist Statement!
  3. Submit your artwork.

   - If you created visual art, drop it off in the Attendance Office or in Ms. Joyce's classroom with an entry form attached (entry forms are available with Ms. Joyce and in the office).
   - If you created artwork digitally, upload your file and virtual entry form via the Google Entry Form.

 
All artwork will be displayed in the JAMS Reflections Art Gallery in the library later this fall. Participants will be invited to attend a pizza+cookie party at the gallery, where winners will be announced. Top winners from each artistic category advance to the SMMUSD level of the contest. Winners from there advance to the district, then to state, and up to the national level of the contest.
