The SMMUSD Board Policies are presented in this electronic form a part of an ongoing effort to increase public access to our District's public documents, policies, administrative regulations and procedures.

The policies in this database are written by the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District and all rights are reserved. Many policy models were purchased in a subscription from the California School Boards Association (CSBA) with the agreement that the "sample policies and regulations are copyrighted to the California School Boards Association. Subscribers may use these materials freely within their districts but are not authorized to share them with other districts."
