Strategic Planning Progress Report to the Community Join the Strategic Planning Design and Action Teams on Saturday, May 18, for the Progress Report to the Community. The Action Teams will be presenting their Seven Initiatives for the Classroom of the Future during the entire day. View the work that has been done, chat with Action Team Co-chairs, and have one final opportunity to provide your feedback. See the Calendar web-page for details on the two locations and the schedule of activities.
Seven Teams are Developing Strategies and Action Plans Seven action teams are "building out" the key initiatives (listed below) that were developed at the February 21-23 conference entitled Designing the Classroom of the Future: Excellence in Learning and Equality of Education.
These action teams have been meeting since March and will continue to meet over the next several weeks to discuss opportunities and issues relevant to their specific initiative and complete the action plan templates needed for implementation. The meetings are open to the public. To see a schedule for future meetings, click on the Calendar of Meetings & Events link in the contents bar to the left. For a list of the Action Team co-chairs and their email addresses, click on the Design & Action Teams link in the contents bar. Each team will present plans at the Summit on May 18, between 10AM and 3PM. The community is invited to talk to the teams informally in a gallery atmosphere at the Summit or hear a formal presentation at midday. More information will be posted on the Summit on the Strategic Planning Website and the District Website in the coming weeks.
