Santa Monica High School's Grad Nite is one of the city's most elaborate events - an all-night party of thoroughly extravagant proportions thrown each June exclusively for the graduating class by the parents, district teachers, staff, local businesses and community.
The rite of passage for graduates involves taking a cruise to the destination of their choice - without ever leaving campus. Grad Nite is drug and alcohol-free graduation party that keeps our students safe, sober and alive on what is statistically the most dangerous night of their lives. Over the last 20 years, we have kept over 13,000 students safe and sober averaging 85-95% attendance.
Grad Nite will take place on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 9:30 PM to 5:00 AM. The evening will include a DJ, dancing, carnival and casino games, food, a complimentary DVD of the evening, lots of prizes and much more.
Planning for the 22nd annual Grad Nite is now underway. A party this size will take hundreds of hours and volunteers. We need your help! Putting on this party is worth it, but it is only with the help and support of parents of all grade levels and it's community that we can make an event students will remember all their lives.

Grad Nite is a volunteer-driven event that depends on financial donations. We also need prizes for our deserving grads. The Wish List page should give you some ideas.
