Will Rogers Elementary
School 2010 title i academic achievement award recipient
Will Rogers
Learning Community, a K-5 elementary school in SMMUSD, has been identified as a
2010 Title I Academic Achievement Award recipient.
On February 10,
State Superintendent Jack O’Connell personally called the principal at each
school that received the award to congratulate them and to thank them for all
the school’s hard work at meeting the challenge to close the achievement gap. Superintendent O’Connell commended the
principals for their “commitment to educational excellence for all students.”

the Will Rogers teachers and staff for being
recognized as a 2010 Title I Achievement Award recipient. Their hard work
and dedication has resulted in consistent gains in student achievement.
