Funeral
services for Irma Lyons will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2009,
at Saint Monica’s Catholic Church. St Monica’s is located at
A “Community Gathering” to celebrate Irma’s life and contributions to the
district, school, and broader community will follow the interment at 2:00 p.m.
on the Will Rogers Learning Community campus. Everyone who knew and loved Irma
is welcomed to participate in this very special time.
A fund has been established for those who would like to express their love of
Irma by contributing to her children’s college-going future. In lieu of
flowers, you may wish to donate to the “Ja-Lamar and Taina Lyons Trust Fund.” Checks may be given to Sarah Wahrenbrock in the Superintendent’s office, or Joan Krenik, Will Rogers PTA President.
