change in date for august
board of education meeting
The
SMMUSD Board of Education has changed the date of its regularly scheduled
August meeting from Thursday, August
20 to Wednesday, August 19. The public portion of the meeting will begin
at 5:30pm in the board room at the district office:
The
purpose of this change was to ensure a quorum (at least half) of board members
would be present at the meeting, as required by law.
A copy
of the agenda for the August 19 board meeting will be on the district website (www.smmusd.org) by August 14.
