SMMUSD Board of Education Special Meeting May 28, 2009
The Santa Monica-Malibu Board of
Education will be holding a special meeting on Thursday, May 28, 2009, at
6:00pm in the board room at the district office: 1651 16th St.,
Santa Monica, CA.
The purpose of the meeting is for
the Board of Education to review Board Policy Series 3000 (Business and Non-Instructional
Operations), 6000 (Instruction), and 7000 (Facilities). This meeting will be the second of
three as the District undergoes a process of reviewing and updating all its
policies, administrative regulations, and related exhibits. At a subsequent meeting, staff will
recommended that the Board delete all current policies, administrative
regulations in these articles and adopt those reviewed and recommended for
Board adoption. No action will be
taken on May 28; it is a discussion and review process.
