SMMUSD Board of Education Special Meeting – May 14, 2009
The Santa Monica-Malibu Board of Education will be
holding a special closed session meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2009, at 5:00pm
in the board conference room at the district office:
The purpose of the meeting is for the Board of
Education to review Board Policy Series 2000 (Administration), 4000 (Personnel), and 9000 (By-laws of the Board). This meeting will be the first of three as the
District undergoes a process of reviewing and updating all its policies,
administrative regulations, and related exhibits. At a subsequent meeting, staff will
recommended that the Board delete all current policies, administrative
regulations in these articles and adopt those reviewed and recommended for
Board adoption. No action will be taken
on May 14; it is a discussion and review process.
