Notice of Public Hearing – Evaluation
of
Notice is hereby given that on April
23, 2009, at 7:10 p.m., in the SMMUSD Board Room at 1651 16th Street, Santa
Monica, CA 90404-3891, the Board of Education of the Santa Monica-Malibu
Unified School District will conduct a public hearing to determine whether the
potential acquisition of the two residential parcels abutting the Edison
Language Academy [2508 Virginia Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90404 and 2512
Virginia Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90404 (“Parcels”)] meet the California
Department of Education’s (“CDE”) school site selection standards.
Subsequent to the public hearing on
April 23, 2009, at the regularly scheduled meeting, it is the intention of the
Board of Education to consider a resolution making certain findings that the
two Parcels abutting the
