SMMUSD Board of Education Retreat Dates for August

The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board of Education will be holding two retreats with the Superintendent during August. The retreats will be held on August 11^th and 13^th from 4:00pm-8:00pm in the Conference Room at the District Office: 1651 16^th St., Santa Monica, CA 90404.

The retreats will be a part of several retreats that the Board of Education and Superintendent will hold throughout the school year. The agendas will address the roles and responsibilities of the board and Superintendent, including agreements and protocols. The agenda will also address managing board meetings and establishing a direction for the 2008-2009 school year.

The agendas for August 11^th and 13^th will be posted to the district website this week at http://www.smmusd.org/board/meetings.html.
