SMMUSD Board of Education Budget
Information Workshop April 7th at the District Office
The Board of Education will be holding a budget workshop on Monday,
April 7, 2007, at 4:00pm in the district office board room: 1651 16th St.,
Santa Monica, CA. The board will be presented with information regarding
the 2008-09 budget for the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District. Chief Financial Officer, Jan Maez, will
inform the board regarding various budgetary formats, policy areas for budget
development, multi-year financial projections, and solution strategies. Ms. Maez will also review the budget
development calendar.
This workshop is intended to be an informational session for the board
members as a step toward developing the 2008-09 budget for the district. The agenda for the workshop can be found at
