High Performing Governance Teams Retreat December 10th at District
Office
The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified
School District Board of Education will be holding a Board and Superintendent
Retreat on Monday, December 10th, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the
district office: 1651 16th St., Santa Monica, CA.
This will be a fourth retreat addressing High Performance Governance Teams for the board and Superintendent. The topics to be discussed include best practices of governance teams, agenda planning, and the roles and responsibilities of the board and superintendent.
The board will hold a closed session following the retreat.
James R. Brown – an education consultant for SpringBoard
Schools, an author, and a retired Superintendent – will facilitate the retreat.
