School Board Accepting Applications for
District Advisory Committees
Opportunity
for Parent and Community Involvement in Public Education
The Santa
Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board of Education accepts applications
for appointments to District Advisory Committees on an ongoing basis. Parents and community members are invited to
apply.
The purpose of
District Advisory Committees is to advise the Board of Education regarding
School District needs and issues in areas of childcare and development,
bilingual education and English Learners, community health and safety, fine
arts, technology, intercultural, special education, and sports and physical
education. Appointments will be made
at a Board meeting periodically throughout the remainder of the school year. Additionally, DAC appointments are made
during the year for any unfilled vacancies.
