ANNOUNCES 2004-2005 TEACHERS OF THE YEAR

At the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board of Education meeting of December 9, 2004, to be held at the SMMUSD Board Room, the Board of Education will recognize those teachers who were selected by their peers as school site Teachers of the Year 2004-2005. As representatives of all the teachers in the School District, the 2004-2005 Teachers of the Year possess the skills, talent, creativity and dedication to the education of children that make our schools outstanding learning environments.

Of the three schools that participated in the program this year, five teachers were selected. They are Anabella Large of Cabrillo Elementary School, Beth Levin of Point Dume Marine Science Elementary School, and Kristen Bradshaw, Glen Olsheim, Vicky Tsujimoto all from Roosevelt Elementary School.

Congratulations to all of our exemplary teachers – we thank them for giving the gift of education to our communities’ youth.
