Malibu High School Choir Wins First Place

On April 20-21, 2002, the Malibu High School mixed choir led by Choir Director, Irene Messoloras, brought two awards back to Malibu at the Disneyland 2002 Music in the Parks Competition. As one of fifteen groups in the competition, Malibu High School mixed choir won First Place in the High School A category and also won the Overall Choir award.

Congratulations to Irene Messoloras, new music teacher at Malibu High School, under whose guidance the mixed choir has doubled in size; and congratulations to the mixed choir whose long rehearsal hours have paid off.
