The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District is notifying the public that the exclusive bargaining unit, Santa Monica-Malibu Classroom Teachers Association (SMMCTA), representing the certificated employees, has presented its proposal to open negotiations on matters related to the District Child Development Services Program.

The bargaining unit's proposal, as well as the District's proposal, are available beginning January 12, 2001 and can be obtained by members of the public during business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, at the District Human Resources Office located at 1651 16th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404

A public hearing has been scheduled as part of the agenda for the regular Board meeting of Thursday, January 18, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. to be held at the Santa Monica City Council Chambers, 1685 Main Street, Santa Monica. The Board welcomes public comments.
