Duplicate Board of Education workshop meetings will be held on Wednesday July 18 and Thursday, July 26, 2001, from 5-6:30 PM in the Board Room of the District's administrative offices, 1651 16th Street, Santa Monica, California.

If you wish to address the Board of Education you must submit the "Request to Address" card prior to the discussion of the item. The only item agendized for these meetings is the Strategic Planning Workshop. Request to Address cards are located at the entrance to the Board Room.

Members of the audience may address the Board of Education regarding items that are not posted on the agenda. Each speaker will be given 2 or 3 minutes, depending on the number of speakers. Submission of Request to Address cards is required.

• Identifying the most important benchmarks the district needs to reach in order to deliver improved student instruction and subsequent achievement
• Focusing on primary short- and long-term goals

IV ADJOURNMENT

The meeting of July 18, 2001 will adjourn to the workshop meeting of July 26, 2001, at 5 PM; the meeting of July 26, 2001, will adjourn to a regular meeting of the Board of Education scheduled to be held at 7 PM on Thursday, August 2, 2001. Both meetings will be held in the Board Room of the District Offices, 1651 16th Street, Santa Monica, California, 90404.
