Release from LAUSD
LAUSD Update on Permit Availability
Parents requesting a permit from LAUSD to attend school in SMMUSD will still have to apply with LAUSD online for the permit transfer. LAUSD’s permit application process is open online from February 1, 2013 through April 30, 2013 at www.LAUSD.net.
LAUSD indicates it will continue to evaluate student release on some of the following criteria: parental employment, childcare, space availability, and educational options not offered within the District.
